William J. Manory

Joining Carella Byrne in 2024 immediately after passing the New Jersey bar, William Manory focuses his practice on complex class actions, commercial litigation, and corporate and transactional matters.

While earning his law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law, William laid the foundation for his legal career by immersing himself in a wide range of matters while working as a summer associate at a Hackensack, NJ law firm. He participated in contract drafting, negotiation, and review, with a particular emphasis on entity formation and incorporation, mergers and acquisitions, employment law, and dispute resolution. William’s corporate exposure also included collaborating with the business litigation team on matters pertaining to the misappropriation of corporate funds, partnership/shareholder disputes, and product liability cases. Estate planning work as well as involvement in criminal litigation rounded out the diverse experience he gained before joining the firm.

In addition to his exposure to law firm practice, William also gained insights from behind the bench while serving as a judicial intern for judges in the New Jersey Superior Court, Civil Division.
