Maybol Hall

Leveraging the impressive advocacy skills she honed while working as a prosecutor, Maybol Hall focuses her practice on complex litigation. With broad experience that spans the entire case lifecycle, from intake and evaluation to discovery and motion practice to jury trials, Maybol provides insightful and committed representation for firm clients in a wide range of matters.

Before joining Carella, Byrne, Maybol served as an Assistant Prosecutor in the Essex County and Passaic County Prosecutor’s Offices. During that time, she conducted several jury trials and numerous testimonial hearings, assisted local police departments with the preparation of search warrants for ongoing investigations, and responded to motions, including motions to suppress, compel discovery, and dismiss an indictment. She also prosecuted adult and juvenile defendants for various offenses, interviewed and prepared lay and expert witnesses for hearings and trials, and negotiated plea resolutions for complex multi-defendant matters.

Maybol’s experience also includes time spent serving as a Law Clerk to the Hon. Michael J. Rogers of the Superior Court of New Jersey, where she gained valuable behind-the-bench insights that help her craft effective case strategies and persuasive arguments.

Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and Cantonese, Maybol graduated cum laude from the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT), Albert Dorman Honors College, before earning her law degree from Fordham University School of Law. While in law school, she worked as an Intern in the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General and the Departmental Solicitor's Office, Department of Finance in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
