Donald A. Ecklund is a partner of the firm. He focuses his practice on the representations of individuals, class members, and communities, with an emphasis on pharmaceutical, medical device, and consumer product litigation, environmental litigation, consumer fraud, and shareholder litigation.
An experienced litigator, Don litigates in both state and federal courts across the county, including mass torts and multidistrict litigation. He has served on committees in several multidistrict litigations involving pharmaceutical drugs and medical devices. Don also has extensive experience in class action matters against automobile manufacturers for excessive emissions, defective design, and safety defects. Recently, he has devoted significant time to advocating on behalf of public entities pursuing claims to hold the companies responsible for the prescription opioid epidemic accountable. He is also seeking compensation for insulin-dependent diabetics in litigation against the three dominant manufacturers of analog insulin for unconscionable and unfair price gouging.
Before joining the firm, Don was an associate at a prestigious New York law firm for four years, where he represented clients in complex products liability litigation, mass torts, environmental litigation, and other matters.
A graduate of Rutgers University, Don earned his law degree from Rutgers School of Law. He is admitted to the Bars of the States of New Jersey and New York and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the District of New Jersey.
